It is about the time for us to talk about something we know, that is retribution DPS. This is nothing new for most of the players but it can help some players who want to know how to DPS as Paladin. So this information is beneficial and useful for your information. Now let us get down to it in depth.
For Retribution Paladin, cheap wow gold, the choices of the talent are pretty simple. It's the most of the talents in the ret tree with one important talent in the Prot Tree. The basic talent spec would be a 0/5/59 build leaving 7 points. Those last 7 points are going to be and go from there. The normal build would be 0/6/65.
Those extra talents for your choosing are as follows:
Guardian's Favor shortens the cool-down on Hand of Protection and increases the duration of Hand of Freedom as well so a nice utility spell when needed.
Vindication is mostly taken for PVP because there aren't many options otherwise to take. If someone wants to pick a fight it's nice to be able to retaliate effectively.
Divine Purpose generally reduces your chance to be hit by spells and ranged attacks by 4% which is nice in raids. Sometimes shit happens, buy wow gold, but it gives Hand of Freedom the ability to remove a stun on the target. This is helpful on trash pulls sometimes if a tank gets stunned you can freedom them and keep the mob from knocking them down really quickly. It's one of those nightmares from Hyjal that you just can't let go of.
Improved Retribution Aura just increases the damage done by Retribution aura, and falls into that utility category again. It gives the tanks more threat, and that is never a bad thing.
Then we touch upon the stats you are looking for.
Maybe you badly want to know how to gear up for a raid when you are building that first set of gear to get into raids. In part, Hit is the first stat you are looking at building up. All the Attack Power in the world means nothing if you can't hit a boss. When you hover over your hit rating you are looking for 8%. After hit the important stats for a Retribution Paladin to look at are strength, crit and expertise. Haste is OK but wouldn't recommend gearing for it, just take what you get naturally on your gear and go from there. This also applies to armor penetration and most of your attacks are holy, and holy penetrates armor all the way.
Speaking of Strength versus Attack Power, strength comes first. Generally gear is itemized around the same level to have 50% less strength than attack power because for strength using classes, strength will give 2 Attack Power. So in this regard, they are equal. Throw into that the talent Divine Strength and you are getting 2.2 Attack Power for strength so it is a far better stat.
For a Retribution Paladin, the attack rotation has got to be one of the simplest things there is. Most times it's just a matter of hit what is available first. That is with the basic rule of Judgment, Crusader Strike, Divine Storm, and Consecration which is for a boss fight, give higher priority to consecrate and divine storm on trash, and though get the judgments going for mana.
Once you've gone through that first rotation it becomes a matter of hit anything that is coming off of cool-down and if two things come up at once, refer back to the original rule. It is acceptable before you get the four pieces set bonus to go with divine storm before crusader strike just to make the cool-own of judgment and crusader strike a little further apart. |
