redhat5用rpm装mysql后，装php怎么配置with-mysql

请教redhat5装lamp，mysql用官方的server.rpm和client.rpm。apache用源码包安装的，请问配置php时，--with-mysql路径怎么写？我这样配置：./configure --prefix=/usr/local/php --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --with-mysql=/var/lib/mysql   结果这样配置不对，出来后php不能加载mysql，直接--with-mysql也不行，请问，应该怎么配置？谢谢了。问题补充：
已经启动了mysql了。

只懂WIN2006+IIS60

--with-mysql=[DIR] 指定mysql路径

--with-mysql=/usr

with 后面跟mysql的安装路径。（可以用 whereis 查询）
